About us
At Hilaris, being bilingual means covering the curriculum in Polish and in English alike. English is taught at an extended level, so that our pupils master it well enough to communicate freely and confidently.
This whole page is bilingual — the switch above changes its language.
English is not just another subject here. It is the language we learn in.
Three principles that shape the way we work with language.
It increases how often pupils meet English at school — both spoken and written.
It introduces English into subject teaching gradually, step by step.
It builds confidence in using subject-specific vocabulary in selected topics.
The goal is fluency, but our approach adapts to the age of the pupils. Tap a subject to see a sample lesson.
We focus on communicating in English in everyday situations. Selected lessons, projects and clubs are taught bilingually.
Lessons taught bilingually
We develop communicative skills and broaden vocabulary — both general and specialist.
